the Artist
David Holt is a watercolor artist who creates realistic paintings
that feature exact details filled with rich color and natural light.
Based in Massachusetts, many of his paintings are of traditional New
England related subjects; but, David is always excited to paint any
subject matter that originates from other areas of the country or the
world!
David creates an array of subject matter which includes landscapes,
sea and cityscapes, portraits, floral, and still life's. He has been
commissioned to paint detailed renditions of clients homes and vacation
hideaways as well as favorite things and floral arrangements. He can take
a picture or a section of that picture and paint it in your desired size,
alter, add or delete from a photo or even change the colors.
David has enjoyed restorations and painting throughout his life. He
is completely self taught both in oils and watercolors. He has spent the
last several years refining his watercolor technique which is more of a
passion than a preference.
